the Math

I was doing the math on the Civic Hybrid this morning….and here is how it works. Right now there is a $3500 discount from Honda – and a very limited time $1000 Christmas bonus on the same car. Then there is a $2000 discount/rebate from the provincial government on the Hybrid program! So it total there is $6500 is savings on a Civic Hybrid! Might be a very good time to go green.

A real busy week in winkler as the local junior the, the Winkler Flyers, of which I am serving as President this season, were hosting the CAnadian Junior A Prospects game. 40 of the top rated junior a players from across Canada descended into Winkler for a two game series. During the event we also hosted our annual Sportsmans dinner. Gerry Cheevers and Blly Smith were our guest speakers. Dick Jonckowski was our guest emcee – he is funny! I had the priviledge of picking him up and returning him Wednesday to the airport in Grand Forks. I was pooped when this event was over.

THings are also busy at Southland as there are some great programs on to assist people in getting great deals on the few remainign 2009 products! It is a good time to get your own Christmas gifts! For example – we have a 2009 Fit demo where there is a $4000 discount! We have a brand new Accord where there is a $3500 discount! dashing thru the snow
